“Working between the public sphere of the street and the intimacy of a studio space, I make interdisciplinary work that mostly uses and repurposes found materials. My process relies on the readily available, discarded elements I come across. (…) Residues that result of our society of consumption, affect the cityscape in a particular way. With a non-specific narrative my art playfully addresses contemporary concerns of our society. The difference between art and life becomes slight.” (artist’s statement)

“Propelled by persisting encounters with materials and by my experimentation with them, my creations mutate, expand and contract extemporaneously and endlessly. This results in a potentially infinite process that investigates ideas of informality, improvisation, and new forms of sculptural assemblage. Space, placements, arrangements, materials and their relationships to each other are constantly reconsidered. Boundaries between mediums are blurred, as I intuitively explore how “process”, “work-in progress” and “final piece” intertwine. (artist’s statement)”
